Diamondbacks 6, Rockies 3

A much needed win in Denver tonight for the Diamondbacks. Zack Greinke was his typical amazing self, though it was definitely made more impressive by the fact it happened at Coors. He kept the Rockies in check, only letting them get three runs on six hits, no walks, with five strike outs. As always, you have to ask if this start was worth a million bucks, and I’d say the answer is a resounding yes, once again.

On offense, Ketel Marte had himself a night, getting four RBI’s right after the news came out that he would be seeing reduced playing time. David Peralta and AJ Pollock joined in the fun, getting two hits apiece, with one of Peralta’s being a two run homer in the first inning.

All in all, a well played baseball game, which has been sorely missing of late. The Dodgers lost again to the Cincinnati Reds, so a good day for score board watching. Full recap to follow!
