MLB 2021 Roster Usage

As everyone knows with my project, I've also kept up with the 2021 MLB Season. One thing that I have stated is that there has not yet been a day in the MLB Season where a player has not debuted with his new team. (AKA Rookie first appearance, addition via waiver/trade etc.) So I was curious on how many players have been used by each team.

This Table below shows in the first column after the team, how many players have been used by the team, then the 2nd & 3rd are batters and pitchers respectively.

The 4th column counts how many batters are qualified for the batting title as of August 27th (3.1 Plate appearances per team game)

The 5th column continues a conversation that Jack Sommers and I had earlier in the season, about the expected drop off this year of the number of pitchers qualified for the ERA Title (1 IP per team game)

The final column is the number of Starting Pitchers that each team has used.

So, the DBacks have used 60 players this year, tied for 4th high in MLB (NYM 62, Cub/Sea 61) with 16 different starting pitchers used, that ranks them 4th as well (NYM/LAD 19, Mia 18)
