The affiliates won three out of four games on Sunday, and nearly took all four with the Hops rallying from behind in the ninth to pull within a run of winning.

Zach Lee got the start, and was solid in his five innings of work. Lee allowed a run on four hits and a walk, while striking out five. The lone run came via a solo homer in the bottom of the fifth. Down one run, the Aces answered back with five runs in the top of the sixth. Juniel Querecuto singled, Seth Beer was hit by pitch, and Drew Ellis walked to load the bases. Henry Ramos reached on a fielder’s choice with an error on the play by the River Cats third baseman, allowing Querecuto to score. Matt Lipka hit a bases clearing double, scoring three more runs. Lipka then stole third, and scored on a Renae Martinez single. Alex Powers replaced Lee in the bottom of the sixth, and struck out one in his two scoreless innings, with a hit allowed, Jeremy Rhoades pitched a scoreless eighth inning, with a hit and walk allowed. The Aces added two more runs in the ninth after Renae Martinez walked, Jancarlos Cintron singled, and Nick Heath singled to load the bases. Juniel Querecuto then singled on a line drive to right, scoring two runs.
Sam Moll struck out three in the ninth inning, but allowed two runs on a hit and a walk, with both runs scoring on a two run homer.

Ryan Weiss got the start and went 4.2 innings, allowing one run on three hits and three walks, while striking out four. Matt Gage went 1.2 innings and also allowed a run (via solo home run) on three hits while striking out three. Chester Pimentel went .2 innings, striking out one and walking one. Edgar Arredondo pitched two innings, with one run allowed on three hits and a walk, with a pair of strike outs.
Amarillo got on the board first with a run in the bottom of the second, after Stone Garrett doubled and scored on a Jose Herrera single. They would add three more runs in the bottom of the sixth, after D.J. Burt singled, Alek Thomas doubled, and Mikey Reynolds hit homered, scoring three runs. In the bottom of the eighth, Alex Thomas doubled again, and scored on a Mikey Reynolds single. Reynolds then scored on a Stone Garrett double.

Liam Norris got the start and went 3.1 innings, with one run allowed on a hit by pitch, four hits, and three walks, with three strikeouts. Harrison Francis pitched .2 innings, with a hit, a walk, and strikeout, but didn’t allow any runs or his inherited runner to score. Rigoberto Borbolla pitched three scoreless innings, with a hit and a walk allowed, and one strikeout. Denson Hull pitched two innings, blowing the save in the eighth thanks to an unearned run (due to a Jose Curpa error) allowed on two hits and a walk, but after Visalia came back with three runs in the bottom of the inning, put up a scoreless ninth inning to earn the win.
Down 1-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Visalia scored their first run to tie the game up after A.J. Vukovich walked, stole second, and scored on a fielding error that allowed Jose Curpa to reach base. The Rawhide added another run in the seventh after Roman Ruiz walked, advanced to third on a Jorge Barrosa singled, and scored on a wild pitch. Three runs crossed the plate in the eighth after AJ Vukovich and Elian Miranda walked back to back, and were bunted over by Jose Curpa. Ramses Malave hit a sac fly, scoring Vukovich, and Roman Ruiz homered, scoring Miranda.

The Hops came from behind to nearly win this one, but came up just short. The two unearned runs were the difference between a win and a loss in this game.
Drey Jameson got the start, went six inning, and allowed two runs on three hits and no walks, while striking out six. Luis Frias followed up Jameson, but was only able to get an out, while allowing an unearned run on two hits and a walk. Kai-Wei Lin struck out one in 1.2 innings, with two runs (one unearned) allowed on two hits and two walks. Wesley Rodriguez pitched a perfect ninth inning.
Blaze Alexander got the first run for the Hops after doubling in the seventh, and scoring on a Reece Hampton single. The Hops scored the first of three runs in ninth after couple of walks and a hit by pitch loaded the bases, and a wild pitch allowed Blaze Alexander to score. Another walk would load the bases once again, allowing Leodany Perez to knock in two more runs thanks to ground ball single.
