Keury Mella followed with two innings, with a run on a hit and a pair of walks, while striking out three. Jeremy Rhoades had a very rough outing, getting just one out, with five runs allowed on four hits and a walk, with his only out coming via strikeout. Cameron Gann pitched 1.2 scoreless and hitless innings, striking out a pair, though he did let his inherited runner score.
The Aces didn’t get on board until the seventh inning, when they were already down 3-0. Seth Beer doubled, advanced to third on a wild pitch, and scored on a Stuart Fairchild triple to make the score 3-1. The Aces scored their second run in the bottom of the ninth, when Camden Duzenack singled, advanced to second on defensive indifference, and scored on a Drew Ellis triple to make the score 8-2.
