There were a total of 37 responses received which, to be honest, is about 36 more than I was expecting, and almost the same as last year (40). I feared hardly anyone would want to re-hash the trauma of the most dismal campaign since 2004, and rate 64 players plus the manager and general manager. But to everyone’s credit, due diligence was apparent. Well, almost everyone. I did eliminate one ballot, which awarded everybody a “1”, except inexplicably for Carson Kelly, who received a “2”. I might still even have accepted that - it’s perilously close to fair comment - except that the username they gave was “DBAKCSUCK”. I’m afraid such poor spelling simply cannot be tolerated, and so their ballot got binned.
Here are the rankings duly established by the remaining, legitimate candidates. I’ll be sending out the spreadsheet to those who expressed an interest in doing player reviews shortly, and we will get these under way at some point next week.

For what it’s worth the average of the averages - not weighted for playing time, or anything like that - came in at 3.73. That’s almost a full point below the 2020 average, which was 4.69. I can’t in all honesty say I am surprised by this.
