Arizona Fall League 2021 SnakePitPalooza: Saturday Nov 6th, Camelback Ranch

After a long absence, let’s go back to the AFL!

Trying to remember the last time we went to a Fall League game. Obviously wasn’t last year, with the whole season being canceled. Don’t think we were able to go in 2019 either, so at a guess it would be 2018? Anyway, with the hellishly busy month of October now blessedly behind us, figured we’d head on out. You can join myself, Mrs SnakePit and Jack Sommers if you wish: we’d love to see you. The chosen date is Saturday November 6th, when the Salt River Rafters (the team which includes the Diamondbacks prospects) will be playing over at Camelback Ranch against the Glendale Desert Dogs. It’s a 6:35 pm first pitch, and the forecast is currently a balmy 76 degrees at 8 pm, so should be near perfect.

It is, very much, informal. The AFL is general admission, so no tickets will be bought in advance. I suspect we’ll be congregating somewhere behind the Rafters dugout, so you can simply show up when you want and join us there. Mrs. S and I will be getting our pregame on before hand, if you wish to join us. From about 4:30 pm until 6 pm, we’ll be at the Crooked Pint, at 6151 N 99th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85305. It’s just behind the Top Golf facility on the Loop 101, attached to the Holiday Inn there. A very nice beer selection, and the stuffed burgers (Lucys) are to die for. Probably literally. :) If you’ll be there, best let us know so we can acquire an appropriate table.
