And you thought last week’s Sporcle was tough... This time, you need to name the various pitchers used by the Diamondbacks this season. There were a lot of them. Even excluding the five position players pressed into service during one or other of the many blowout losses which littered the season, 36 different pitchers were used by the Diamondbacks over the course of this wretched season. It was truly the embodiment of throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. The answer, unfortunately, was typically not much, with fifteen different men (again, excluding position players) throwing fewer than 20 innings. In the last full season, that number was just four, including Taijuan Walker’s end of year cameo.
