The above is the line-up as Tweeted out by the Diamondbacks this morning. I’m going to presume there’s a typo, and that Vogt is actually today’s designated hitter, rather than the team being innovative and going with two catchers. :) Quite a few regulars seem to be getting a rest today, with only Marte (S variety) and Peralta likely to be in the line-up on Opening Day. Duplantier is still a possible candidate to replace Mike Leake, if the latter isn’t ready by Opening Day. Though the likes of Alex Young and Merrill Kelly are probably ahead of Duplantier on the depth chart for now. I’m just glad that, touch wood, health has generally not been too much of an issue for the D-backs this spring. Long may that go on!
Radio for this one, but looks like it’ll be on ESPN 620 AM, rather than the usual 98.7 FM.
