Yes, this afternoon will be our first chance to truly enjoy the televisual experience, with the first of 167 games which Fox Sports Arizona will be screening this year. It’ll be nice to hear the smooth sounds of Bert ‘n’ Bob over the airwaves again. The D-backs have actually already played today though. There was a B-squad game vs. Keio University on the back fields this morning, which saw Taylor Widener and Andrew Chafin get in on the action. I wonder if keeping Widener away from a divisional rival might suggest he’s head of the pecking order if a replacement for Mike Leake is needed? But otherwise, quite a few names in today’s line-up I’d expect to see on Opening Day. Rather unlike yesterday.

Bur can they end the losing streak? Tune in and find out!
