White Sox Acquire Lance Lynn

The Chicago White Sox acquired right-hander Lance Lynn from the Rangers in exchange for right-handed pitcher, Dane Dunning and lefty Avery Weems. The trade reunites Lynn with Tony La Russa, who was his manager in St. Louis, where the two won a World Series together.

White Sox Sign Adam Eaton

Adam Eaton is returning to the south side on a 1-yr/$7 MM deal. The contract includes an $8.5 MM club option for 2022, with a $1 MM buyout.

Royals, Carlos Santana Reach 2-Year Deal

Carlos Santana will be playing first base for the Kansas City Royals in 2021. The deal is for 2-years/$17.5 MM. This addresses a glaring need the Royals had at first base while also providing the rebuilding team with some veteran stability.

After tearing apart the KBO for the last four seasons, including winning the 2020 MVP award, there was some speculation that Rojas would make a return to the States.
