Diamondbacks Make Seven Roster Moves

Unsurprisingly, the Diamondbacks elected to DFA Junior Guerra. Additionally, they have added right-handed pitchers J.B. Bukauskas, Luis Frias, and Matt Peacock, outfielder Stuart Fairchild, and infielder Geraldo Perdomo to the 40-man roster.

Diamondbacks Claim RHP Rogelio Armenteros

The Arizona Diamondbacks claimed right-handed pitcher Rogelio Armenteros from the Houston Astros on Friday. Arementeros, 26, missed the entirety of the 2020 season after undergoing surgery on his elbow in March.

The team also outrighted infielder Domingo Leyba to the Triple-A Reno Aces.

Additionally, right-handed pitcher Emilio Vargas, who was taken off the D-backs’ 40-man roster earlier this week, was claimed by the Chicago White Sox.
