Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Diamondbacks fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.
The MLB playoffs have been a wild rush of games so far. But fans are still absorbing as much baseball as possible.
In the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey asked Monday before the start of play, fans were asked to pick a winner from each of the LCS series. Those fans picked the Oakland Athletics, Tampa Bay Rays, Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves to advance. The Braves earned the highest percentage of the fan vote with more than 75 percent. So far, that generally seems to be going as predicted, though the A’s would need to win again today and tomorrow, for that prediction to come to pass. Mind you, going for the higher seed in each case is hardly pushing the boat out, though I’m a bit surprised the Yankees weren’t picked ahead of the Rays, their fandom being... what it is.

Additionally, fans were asked what they were most surprised by from the Wild Card series. Just over 40 percent of those who responded were most surprised by the Miami Marlins sweep of the Chicago Cubs. Can’t really argue with that one. It was probably the thing I was most pleased about as well. Nothing quite beats Cubs despair and recriminations: I’ll have the large Thirstbuster of Cubbie tears, thank you very much! :)
