Giants 10, Diamondbacks 4

Everything that is part of a poor Robbie Ray outing was on display today. A lot of pitches, a lot of walks and hits and only 4 innings of work. The D-backs did not have much success against Bumgarner and finish the series against the Giants at .500 and are back to .500 for the year.

Marte Gets All-star Company with Greinke

It is not a surprise Greinke is an All-star this year. He’s got a 2.90 ERA, 9 wins, a WHIP under 1 and has been a stabilizing force for the team. With the trade deadline coming closer, the D-backs need to win some games, otherwise Greinke might be traded before too long. I’m hoping he stays.

Lovullo Ejected in 5th Inning of Game

He was actually ejected while yelling something out of the dugout. He ran out for an argument to get his money’s worth. The team remained listless the rest of the game despite this burst of energy by the manager.

Breaking Point: Diamondbacks Fall to Giants to Complete Inconsistent Month

June is over and the Diamondbacks are trying to convince the world they are a .500 team. A nice winning streak in July would fix those problems.
