MLB Network’s Play Ball, hosted by Harold Reynolds and additional MLB Network analysts, is a half-hour show featuring one-on-one baseball demonstrations and conversations with some of the top personalities in the game. Each week, Play Ball will also include tips on how kids can participate in all forms of baseball activities, plus highlights on and off the field throughout MLB.
This Saturday, Jake Lamb will be a featured guest. The episode will be broadcast at both 7:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. MST. In the 30-minute show, Lamb chats with three-time All-Star Sean Casey about his baseball influences growing up and his favorite pregame music.
Lamb discussing influences on his childhood baseball life, including his father and Ken Griffey, Jr.
“He was ‘The Kid,’ he made it fun. He brought that swagger and that backwards hat, he was the coolest guy in the game and he was pretty much in my backyard.”
Lamb on his walk-up music:
“Usually a Travis Scott [song], that’s my guy right now. Anything with a good beat, man, just gets you in the zone, gets you feeling yourself a little bit and feeling good.”
