Last week, I asked you to improve the MLB draft. Got some pretty good suggestions as always, some that might actually even work. As always, though, your recs decided the ones that will be put into place, effective January 1st, 2020. Okay maybe not, but they did decide the winners. In first place once again, suroeste!

In second place, a whole new take on the lottery system...

And rounding out the podium, after a little bit of extra prompting, Diamondhacks!

Some movement up at the top of the standings. Suroeste breaks the tie for first and gives themselves a solid lead. Hacks’ showing this week moves him to second place, and Jack slides all the way to third. Also of note, NikT77 moves into a solid fourth place, not an unsurmountable distance behind the three front runners and could make things interesting going into the home stretch of the first half.

Let’s keep with the theme of fixing baseball institutions, shall we? This year, MLB and Google (ugh) introduced a new way to vote for the All Stars, which mirrors the primary system used for American political elections. I think it’s too complicated, and, honestly, voting is a terrible way to choose anyway. Come up with a better system. Go!
