Pit Your Wit’s ‘19: Week 10

Last week, inspired Phoenix Fan Fusion, I asked you to suggest what cosplays the Diamondbacks would go as if they were to dress up for such an event. Lots of good suggestions, but you all were kind of stingy with the recs this week, only giving out multiple to three entries. In first place, though, we have Dbacks fan from Japan!

Perfect. In second place, we have suroeste with one I would have never thought of myself, but works really well now that they suggest it

And rounding out the top three, we have Rockstarr!

Still a better idea that Robert Pattinson! And now let’s see how the standings shake out

With their second place finish, suroeste moves into a tie for first in the standings. Only about a month to go in the first half of the season, so things are starting to get more urgant. To break that tie we’re going to need another prompt. Some how Archie Bradley has escaped the wrath of the PYW’s editorial board so far. For a couple seasons, the team really pushed the “Fear the Beard” marketing gimmick. Kind of has disappeared this season, so let’s come up with a new gimmick for him, shall we? Go!
