Luke Weaver continues to make the Goldy trade more palatable. Second strong game by a starter for the D-backs that kept the game close to set up some late game heroics. In the bottom of the ninth, David Peralta did what he has done before with a game-tying homer. It was so beautiful and majestic that he had no choice but to admire it. Ketel Marte blooped a single for the game winner that was credited as Duplantier’s first.

Adam Jones Robs Ronald Acuna of HR

Adam Jones has a reputation for making just this sort of play. It was clearly a robbery. Nice plays all day for the D-backs defense today that were all needed to win it.
