Yesterday’s game: Dbacks 1 - Padres 4
The tale of two Robbie’s, mixed with lack luster offense and a 9th inning injury to Jake Lamb deals defeat for the Dbacks in their 4th loss of the season. Jake Lamb has been diagnosed with a quad strain and is being sent for an MRI. The Dbacks do however take the series, 2 games to 1 against San Diego.
“We’re hoping for the best news with Jake,” Lovullo said, “but if it doesn’t work out we know we have somebody who has gotten off to a great start and is ready to step into a little bit bigger role.” He’s talking about my boy, Mr. Thiccness himself, Christian Walker.
