Something of a dress rehearsal for Opening Day, with the Diamondbacks visiting the Dodgers. That said, it won’t be Matt Koch pitching for Arizona next Thursday, and I doubt it will be John Ryan Murphy who will be catching Zack Greinke. The rest of the line-up though, does look fairly close to what I’d expect. We’re at that point of spring training where we can now expect to see the bulk of starters actually starting, and perhaps even staying in for the entire game. Koch is still on the bubble in terms of a position. He’s out of options though, and with the loss of T.J. McFarland, the long-man spot could be his. What happens when McFarland returns, however... Cross that bridge when we get to it.
And, stay tuned for something really interesting later tonight. I’m just putting the final touches to it, and think it’ll be worthy of a place in the SnakePit Hall of Fame. Not that we actually have one of those, but if we did...
