If last night was close to a must-win for the Astros, this one is considerably more balanced. Victory here, leveling the series would put Houston right back in the driving seat, and return home field advantage to them. However, victory for Washington would mean they have the chance to clinch at home tomorrow night. But with them having to face Gerrit Cole again there, they certainly would prefer to be 3-1 up going into that game, rather than with the series being tied. Beating Cole twice in a series is perhaps not something on which you want to rely. Interestingly, the Astros go with Jose Urquidy, making his first start of the post-season, having appeared twice in relief. So this will be a bullpen game for them.
