Oh boy…another day and another loss as this season is slowly coming to its end. As you can guess, the D-Backs fell to the Cubbies in a game that was over in the sixth. Kyle Hendricks was outstanding as he delivered 8.2 innings and only gave up one run on three hits. The 2-4 spots on the Cubs absolutely destroyed the Diamondbacks. But that will be fully addressed in the full recap which will follow….at some point.
The only fight from the boys in Sedona red came at the hands of A.J. Pollock. Going 1-4 with one RBI, the offense was incredibly stagnate. Patrick Corbin was meh but the offense could not bail him out. Hendricks game score registered at an 83, while Corbin graded out at a 56. Randall Delgado was the gift that kept giving as he gave up 2 runs in 2/3 innings.
Full recap to come…
