The Isotopes hit two home runs off Jake Buchanan, including a three run home run in the first, and a solo homer in the fourth, and would score one more run in the sixth before chasing Buchanan out of the game. They’d hit another solo homer in the ninth off Silvino Bracho, who’d struck out the other three batters he faced. Randall Delgado and Alex Young would pitch scoreless innings. The Aces scored in the first, second, fourth, sixth, and eighth innings. Illdemaro Vargas was 3-5. and doubled and scored a run on a double by Christian Walker who was 2-4 and knocked in a pair of runs. Rey Fuentes was 2-3 with a hit by pitch and a solo homer in the fourth, and scored three runs while knocking in two runs himself. Chris Owings was 2-5 and knocked in a run. Anthony Recker was 2-4 and scored a run.

Taylor Widener went six innings, and gave up just three hits, walked none, and struck out ten, but took a loss thanks to one of those hits being a two run home run in the first and the Genrals providing no run support. Yoan Lopez pitched two scoreless inning and allowed just a hit while striking out three. Marty Herum and Matt Jones were the only Generals batter with any success, with Herum going 2-4 with a double and Matt Jones going 2-3. Ben Deluzio was one of two other Generals batters to have a hit and he was caught stealing. (Domingo Leyba being the other) Rudy Flores gets extra mention for striking out in all three plate appearances.

Mack Lemiux allowed eight runs in four innings, and Bryan Valdez allowed two more in four innings pitched. The only real positive in the game was Eudy Ramos, who went 2-4 with double and a home run.
Class A Short-Season: Hillsboro Hops 2 vs Everett Aquasox 5
Luis Frias and Wesley Rodriguez both went 1.2 innings and both gave up two runs, with Brian Christian going 3.1 innings and giving up the other. (Not in that order) Travis Moths pitched two scoreless innings and struck out one. Cristofer Ogando relieved Rodriguez in the ninth, coming in the game with two outs and the bases loaded, only to walk a run in before getting the final out of the inning. Andy Yerzy was 2-4 with a double, Jake McCarthy 1-3 with a double and a walk, and KeyShawn Lynch was 2-3 with triple and stolen base.
Rookie: Missoula Osprey 6 @ Great Falls Voyagers 5
Down 5 to 1 after the Voyagers scored all five runs off starter Edgar Martinez, who went 3.1 innings, the Osprey battled back and scored a run in the fifth, two in the sixth and two in the seventh to finally put them ahead. After Valbuena exited the game, Trent Autry entered the game and gave up a hit that allowed one of two inherited runners to score. Autry struck out two in the two innings he pitched. Jake Polancic allowed two hits and struck out two in two thirds of scoreless inning. Blake Workman pitched two scoreless innings, allowing one hit, and struck out four batters. Bryan Menendez allowed a hit in a scoreless ninth and struck out one.
The Osprey got on board with a run in the second thanks to a solo homer by Zachery Almond. Zachery would single in addition to the home run, but was picked off at first. Brandon Leyton was 2-5 with a double and a stolen base. Joe Robbins would also go 2-5 with a double, and David Sanchez would go 2-4 with a triple. Buddy Kenny would reach three times going 2-4 with a hit by pitch.
Rookie: AZL D-backs 8 AZL Athletics 1
The AZL D-backs gave up just one run, while scoring one run in the second inning, two in the third, and three in the fourth, and tacked on an additional run in the ninth for good measure. Francis Beriguete went four innings and gave up just four hits and a walk, with an unearned run thanks to a fielding error, followed by a ground and then a single. The D-backs would shut down the Athletics after that, with Jhoendri Herrara giving up a hit and a walk and striking out two in a scoreless fifth inning. Carlos Penalver struck out two, and Liu Fuenmayor struck out one, in a perfect sixth and seventh inning, respectively. Sam Lewis faced two and struck two in the eighth, but would be taken out for Jesus Ceballos, who walked the first two batters he faced before striking out the third to end the inning. Omar Herman walked a batter in the ninth inning, but pitched a scoreless ninth inning.
Liover Peguero was hitless, but managed to score a run in the first by walking, stealing second, then third, and then scoring on a single by Luvin Valbuena. Valbuena would nearly score a second run by advancing in the next at bat, by advancing on a wild pitch and then a passed ball. Marshawn taylor would walk, but then Jorge Borrosa would fly out to end the inning. The D-backs would get two runs in the third thanks to a single by David Garza Jr followed by three errors in the next two at bats, and would load the bases before Luvin Valbuena struck out to end the inning. An error would get things started in the fourth before Axel Andueza singled, Evan Marzilli would double scoring both runners. Marzilli would go to third on the throw, and then David Garza Jr would single scoring Marzilli for the third run of the inning. David Garza Jr would be at the center of the scoring again in the ninth, when he tripled and scored on a sac fly by Kevin Watson Jr. David Garza Jr was 3-5 with a triple, and Luvin Valbuena was 3-5 with a double.
