- The standard Away Uni (The Black pattern) is still the best uniform by Winning % after this month, though it could have been one better if not for whatever the hell happened yesterday.
- The Diamondbacks broke out the Sedona Red Home look against the Padres for a Throwback Thursday. The last time the Diamondbacks wore that particular uniform was on October 2nd, 2015 against the Astros. Here’s how that game went:
- I did a double take when I noticed that the Win/Loss count for the standard Home uniform hadn’t changed at all in the time between these tracker updates. This turned out to not be an error by me, as the days that the Diamondbacks would have traditionally worn those uniforms were preempted by the 4th of July. The more you know!
- Thought about making a note for the uniform worn in the All-Star game, but didn’t count that because that would require the Diamondbacks to actually be present and playing in the game. We all know who’s fault that is, Dave.
We’ll be back at the end of next month for another update. In the meantime, we’ll see what the third try at a mailbag column brings forth next week.
