Clay Buchholz had a great return from the DL and the Diamondbacks’ offense rapped out 12 hits to give him all the support he would need and then some.

Goldschmidt Sparks Deciding Fifth Inning

Cubs starter, Kyle Kendrick cruised through the first four innings. Then, in the fifth, Paul Goldschmidt, Steven Souza, and Jake Lamb all plated Diamondbacks to give Arizona a lead it would never surrender.

Paul Goldschmidt Named Heart and Hustle Award Winner

he MLB Players Alumni Association announced Tuesday the Arizona first baseman, Paul Goldschmidt was the recipient of his team’s 2018 award. The award is given to one player on each of the 30 teams before one overall winner is chosen closer to the end of the season.

This coming as Arizona learned they are no longer in on the Zach Britton sweepstakes.
