Zack Godley pitched very poorly in this one. His ERA is up to 5.07 despite a 9-6 record. This series was one to forget as the Diamondbacks lost a close opener only to see Miller and Godley get blown up by Giants’ bats. Not a great start to July, but there is time to turn it around starting with St. Louis in Arizona with a hot Greinke on the mound.

FanGraphs looks at the best possible Diamondbacks lineups and pitchers all-time. Looks good, but it is scary to think they have Chad Tracy batting 5th against RHP. I guess he hit the righties better than I recall.

He is an example of a player with a very high ERA, but decent advanced stats. An interesting look at him.
