All-Star selectee, Patrick Corbin, had an abbreviated outing on Tuesday, only managing to go 4 1⁄3 innings. However, David Peralta came to his aid, launching a three-run seventh inning home run to give Arizona the victory.
With Arizona down 2-1 in the seventh inning, David Peralta put his team ahead with a three-run shot to right.
After taking strides to become a second ace for Arizona’s rotation in 2017, Robbie Ray has struggled to find his groove in 2018.
When you combine the upside with the bat to the solidness of the glove, you have a very solid baseball player. One definitely worth hanging onto, and one very worthy of the five-year extension he signed before the season began. Odds say he’s quite free and clear of any potential trade scenarios, and he represents a real building block for this Diamondbacks team.
