The Diamondbacks played with fire all night, walking five batters and allowing eight hits, but an insurance run in the ninth off the bat of Jake Lamb in the top of the ninth helped to seal the deal.

The left-hander had a solid outing, but Arizona managed to push across two runs against him, while Patrick Corbin worked over San Francisco’s lineup, resulting in Arizona hanging a loss on Bumgarner.
