This was an odd one. It began with an apparently innocuous Tweet, from the Mets beat reporter for MLB.com

For whatever reason, former catcher Paul LoDuca was triggered by this, and posted the following, now-deleted Tweet:

Hilarity ensued, as the band community rushed to DiComo’s defense, and Leith Kaw also got in LoDuca’s cyber-face, in an ugly spat which made no-one look good. Sadly, with the deletion of the Tweet, most of the reactions went with it, but:
