@Dbacks my wife passed away last Friday night. Tonight is the first game I watched. My wife and I used to watch them together. But tonight’s game I decided to watch “with” my Karen. Well I decided before the game that #GoldschmidtHappens would hit one for my Karen. Thx Goldy.

Not a dry eye in the SnakePit. #ImNotCryingYoureCrying
Dorito Muncher of the Week
The #Diamondbacks’ fundamentals, already as bad as any in the NL, have sunk to the point where they might as well give the franchise back to the league. #Lost
— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) June 17, 2018
In fact, let’s just close the books and give this one the annual award, because nothing can compete. Going forward, this section will be re-named Olbermann of the Week.

Giving advice to Paul Goldschmidt will always score points with the judges.
Goldy man.. yes you have a hr tonight but you need to make a play with the bases loaded . That’s twice now in the last few days you strikeout with bases loaded . #Dbacks

The D-backs posted a video of Steven Souza at Chase Field, interacting with fans there. But not everyone was impressed...
So he has time to walk in the concourses and get a hot dog but no time to play baseball and help the team?? Worst trade in history
— MLB Insider Dinger (@atf13atf) June 17, 2018
Luvullo makes a lot of coaching mistakes that cost us games this is why we can't sweep

The Games in Diamondbacks Tweets
Diamondbacks 6, Mets 3
The Big Unit was in the booth for a bit of this one, and viewer reactions were... diverse.
@Dbacks more big unit please. That guy is awesome
— Brian Flaherty (@flahb) June 15, 2018
@BertDbacks @Dbacks @FOXSPORTSAZ Hey Steve, please escort Randy out of the booth. He’s making me and every single viewer brain dead.

Sincerely, Every Dbacks Fan
The old saw about not being able to please all of the people all of the time, was proved correct again...
Diamondbacks 7, Mets 3
This was an odd one. It began with an apparently innocuous Tweet, from the Mets beat reporter for MLB.com
The Mets put runners on second and third with no outs. Guess if they scored!
— Anthony DiComo (@AnthonyDiComo) June 16, 2018
(D-backs 1, Mets 0, mid-2nd.)
For whatever reason, former catcher Paul LoDuca was triggered by this, and posted the following, now-deleted Tweet:
:no_upscale()/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/11580259/screen.jpg)
Hilarity ensued, as the band community rushed to DiComo’s defense, and Leith Kaw also got in LoDuca’s cyber-face, in an ugly spat which made no-one look good. Sadly, with the deletion of the Tweet, most of the reactions went with it, but:
I know a dude who will just rip off a sweet tuba solo when playing with his band, you don't mess with that
— Charlie G (@CLEFOAINTACRIME) June 16, 2018
I think if we’ve learned anything tonight, it’s this: Never disparage the brass section
— Mike Ferrin (@Mike_Ferrin) June 16, 2018
Oh, and also this:
Yknow what DBACKS? I don’t give two flying fig newtons what folks wear who sit in the home plate box. But for the love of god tell them NOT to wave and act s fool behind there.
— Bruhette (.556) (@AzSportsGirl63) June 16, 2018
Distracting as hell.
Diamondbacks 1, Mets 5
I'm sitting in right field tonight.
— Daniel Hartlauer (@DanielHartlauer) June 17, 2018
If you're watching the game you will notice I am in a bad spot for dbacks fans.
This was, of course, the 7 Line Army game. Fortunately, at least Daniel wasn’t wearing a Yankees shirt.
I give that ride 3 out of 5 Stars. Driver didn’t offer water, no music playlist, and didn’t carry my glove to the mound. https://t.co/GlKWoE4iWr

— Todd Cassel (@Tudec) June 17, 2018
Oh, god... As long as they’re not a breeding pair. #SpayAndNeuter folks... And the next Tweeter clearly knows what side of the “To boo or not to boo?” debate he is on!
Best part of dbacks games is booing Avila

Diamondbacks 7, Angels 4
With the #Dbacks playing in an American League Park tonight, there’s one thing we can all agree on across the idealogical, political and religious spectrums:
— Will Novak (@WillNovak13) June 19, 2018
The designated hitter is an abomination. #FriendsDontLetFriendsDH
I go to one Dbacks game and now my phone insists on telling me when they're playing and updating me on the score. IT WAS JUST A SOCIAL OUTING LEAVE ME ALONE GOOGLE.
— Brittney Hauke (@SuperSparticle) June 19, 2018
Yes, Google: LEAVE BRITTNEY ALONE! :)
Diamondbacks 4, Angels 5
let me tell you this: @ArchieBradley7 is one of the nicest dudes in the business. stayed a signed balls, hats, signs, whatever, for 30 minutes in a visiting ballpark. “what’s up kid! you having a good time?” this guy’s a true professional. you’ve got a good one, @Dbacks
— shalyn brady (@shalynbrady13) June 20, 2018
If the ESPN announcers aren’t going to talk about the Angels or Dbacks can they at least bring in the NBA experts to talk DeAndre Ayton vs Luka Doncic and the Suns instead of the Cubs and David Ross? https://t.co/GsZDYW2KfS
