Five Diamondbacks hit home ruins in this contest with Ketel Marte showing off pop by hitting one from each side of the plate. THis is the sixth time in team history a Diamondback has managed the feat.
Jake Lamb, Daniel Descalso, David Peralta, John Ryan Murphy, and Ketel Marte (twice) all feasted on Miami pitching on Friday night to back Clay Buchholz’s strong outing.
Clay Buchholz has done everything asked of him and more since being picked up off the scrap heap by an Arizona team in desperate need of starting pitching. The offense has simply not helped him to the wins he likely deserved. That changed on Friday night. Having another fine outing on the mound, Buchholz was able to watch his teammates hit five home runs in the first five innings, allowing him to cruise to victory.

Maybe the Diamondbacks should invest in some of those ultra high definition super slow motion cameras.
