The Diamondbacks Minor League affiliates combined to go 3-2 on the day. The Reno Aces had an off day and the Jackson Generals had the second game of their doubleheader cancelled due to weather. The Visalia Rawhide and the two DSL teams ended up winning their games. Here are the stars from the games:

Jackson Generals 0, Mobile Baybears 2 F/7: The Generals (35-29) got a 2 for 3 day from Galli Cribbs, but the rest of the lineup went 1 for 21. Ryan Atkinson pitched well with 6 innings of 2-run ball with 3 walks and 7 Ks, but the lack of offense doomed him once he served up a 2-run homer in the 6th. There was originally supposed to be a doubleheader, but the second game was cancelled.
Visalia Rawhide 11, Modesto Nuts 3: An offensive explosion propelled the Rawhide (34-31) to an easy victory as every hitter reached base via hit or walk at least once and scored a run. Stephen Smith homered and drove in 3 as part of a 3 for 4 day while Pavin Smith smacked out a 2-run homer in the 4th and Dominic Miroglio belted out a Grand Slam in the 6th to put the game out of reach. Riley Smith K’d 5 in 6 innings of 3 run ball to get the win and the bullpen pitched 3 scoreless with 6 Ks behind him.
Kane County Cougars 0, Cedar Rapids Kernels 7: The Cougars (31-33) trailed from the first batter as the game as Shaffer served up a leadoff homer. Overall, Shaffer allowed 4 runs on 7 hits with 6 Ks in 6 innings. The Kane County offense racked up 11 hits, but lost 3 of them to a caught stealing and 2 double plays. Overall, the team struggled to string hits together as evidenced by the score.
DSL Dbacks1 5, DSL Padres 3: The Dbacks took advantage of 7 Padre errors, scoring 5 unearned runs. The Dbacks had only 4 hits and 3 walks, but when the other team plays the baseball like it’s a hot potato there are scoring opportunities. Jorge Barrosa accounting for half the team’s hit total and picked up a stolen base. Francis Beriguete pitched 5 innings of 3-run ball and Eric Mendez pitched the final 3 innings for the save, striking out 6.
DSL Dbacks2 9, DSL Brewers 0: The Dbacks put on an offensive clinic on the Brewers, tallying 11 hits and stealing 5 bases in 5 attempts. At the same time, Argenis Bravo was untouchable with 4 Ks in 5 scoreless innings. The game was 1-0 until the top of the 6th when the Dbacks erupted for 4 runs and then kept piling on. Roman Ruiz, Rafael Jimenez, Juan Batista, and Sandy Martinez had multi-hit games, the latter doing it off the bench with a double and a homer.
