The Diamondbacks affiliates combined to go 1-2 with the Reno Aces being the team to pick up a win. The Jackson Generals had the day off.

0 Stars: Visalia LHP Robbie Sexton 1 2⁄3 IP, 5 H, 3 R (3 ER), 1 BB, 0 K, 2/2 inherited runners scored, L (0-1)
Reno Aces 6, Salt Lake Bees 1: Kevin Cron provided the Aces (22-30) with an early lead with a 2-run homer in the first inning, one they would not relinquish. Taylor Clarke did his part on the mound with 5 shutout innings on 3 hits, 2 walks, and 5 Ks. Joey Krehbiel pitched 2 scoreless behind him as the Aces hitters had a big 6th inning fuelded by doubles hit by Cron and Yasmany Tomas to take a 6-0 lead. Jake Barrett allowed a run to score in the 9th, long after the game had been decided. Cron fell a triple short of the cycle.
Visalia Rawhide 6, San Jose Giants 9: The long ball problem bit Gray in the rear-end again as he allowed 4 runs in 4 1⁄3 innings before giving way to the bullpen with 2 men on base. A big 4-run 5th momentarily gave the Rawhide (27-24) a 6-3 lead. Robbie Sexton came in and allowed both inherited runners to score and allowed 3 more runs of his own in the following frame to lose the game for Visalia. Marcus Wilson went 2 for 3 with a solo homer and a pair of walks, Camden Duzenack had a pair of doubles in 5 ABs, Daulton Varsho 1 for 5, Pavin Smith 1 for 2 with 2 walks, and Drew Ellis 1 for 4 with a double and walk.
Kane County Cougars 3, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 4: The Cougars (25-22) took leads of 2-0 and 3-2 early but neither was able to hold as Mack Lemieux allowed 4 runs on 4 hits, 4 walks, and 8 Ks on the game. After scoring in the first 2 innings, the Cougars offense was held in check the rest of the way. The bullpen delivered 4 shutout innings to give the offense a chance to get the tying run across, but bad baserunning and hitting contributed to 7 straight goose eggs. Jazz Chisholm had 2 doubles in 4 ABs, Gabriel Maciel 2 for 3 with a walk, and Eduardo Diaz 2 for 4 with a double accounting for 6 of Kane County’s 7 hits.
