Bradin Hagens was roughed up for 8 runs, 7 earned, in his 4.2 innings of work, although the unearned came on a errant pick off throw in the 3rd inning. Hagens gave up a double, a home run, and another double in the 5th inning with two outs, and was taken out for Michael Dimock who immediately gave up another home run before getting the final out of the inning. Dimock would settle down after that, and would pitch a scoreless sixth and seventh inning. Jared Miller would pitch a scoreless eighth inning, giving up a hit, a walk, and striking out one batter.
The Aces were up 4-3 in the fourth inning, but the Bees would score two runs in the fourth and four runs in the fifth, putting the game out of reach at 9 to 4. The Aces would score two more runs in the ninth, but they just couldn’t overcome that deficit. Illdemaro Vargas tripled in the first and scored and a run on a sac fly by Cesar Puello. Vargas was 3 for 4 on the night with a triple and a walk. Cesar Puello was 2-4 with two outfield assists. Kristopher Negron was 2-3 with a double. Anthony Recker was 2-5.

Taylor Widener got the start, and pitched 5.1 quality innings, giving up just one run on 3 hits, 2 walks, a hit by pitch, and struck out 7. Gabe Spier pitched 1.2 innings, giving up one run on a hit and walk, and struck out 3. Mason McCullough worked a hitless inning, giving up a walk, and struck out 2. Yoan Lopez struck out 2 and gave up a hit in a scoreless ninth inning.
Jamie Westbrook had an excellent night at the plate, going 3 for 4 with a double and home run. Rudy Flores was 2-3 with a walk, a double and a home run.. Luis Lara was 1-3, while Josh Prince, and Marcus Littlewood were hitless, but all three were walked twice. Juniel Querecuto was 1 for 4, and made good use of his single time on base, stealing second, then third, and then scoring a run on a wild pitch in the eighth.

Emilio Vargas pitched 5 innings and gave up 4 runs (3 earned) on 5 hits and 3 walks, and struck out 5. Tyler Mark pitched an inning, giving up 2 runs on a walk, a hit, and a wild pitch. Tommy Eveld pitched two perfect inning, and struck out two.
Visalia scored a run in the sixth, two in the seventh, and one more in the eighth to make 6-4, but they couldn’t keep the offense going in the ninth to win it. Dominic Miroglio was 2-4 with a double, the only rawhide extra base hit in the game. Daulton Varsho was 1-3 with a walk and a stolen base, his 13th of the year. Drew Ellis was 1-4 with a run scored. Marcus Wilson was hitless, but walked and had a sac fly.

Jhoan Duran pitched 4 scoreless innings, giving one hit and three walks, while striking out five. Juan Torres followed with two innings, and gave up three runs on three hits and walk, with only one of those runs being earned, due to a throwing error by Jasrado Chisholm. Five out of six of Torres’ outs came on strikeouts. Carlos Bustamante pitched two scoreless innings, giving up just a hit, striking out four. Erbert Gonzalez struck out all three batters he faced in the ninth. The Cougars pitching racked up 17 strikeouts total.
The Cougars offense was working on every level, with every Cougars batter getting a hit, except for Yan Sanchez, who walked and knocked in a run with a sac fly. Gabriel Maciel was 2-5 with a double and a run scored. Renae Martinez and Yoel Yanqui were both 2-4 with a double. Jancarlos Cintron was 2-3 with a stolen base. Jasrado Chisholm was 1-4 with a walk. Ernie De La Trinidad was 2-4 with a sac fly. Willliam Gorman was 1-4 with a triple. Joey Rose was 1-4 with a home run.
