Snake Bytes 4/9: Keep Rolling

The D-backs offense stalled until Peralta did what he does. Another nice win for the Diamondbacks behind another strong start.

Cardinals 1, Diamondbacks 4

Strong pitching by Taijuan Walker was nice to see. But this game took 7 innings before the offense came alive. Just like last year, this team doesn’t give up and David Peralta is still a spark plug. His two-run home run changed the game and the bullpen did its job. Hard not to love this team.

Giancarlo Stanton Chalks Poor Start to a ‘Bad Week’

He’s batting .167 after a week with the Yankees. He still has 3 home runs despite his ‘struggles’. If only Goldy was struggling like that.

Appreciating the Miracle of Jose Bautista

An interesting article about a player who rose and fell so quickly. Apparently, the league is not too interested in one-dimensional power hitters who do everything else poorly. Matt Holiday and Jayson Werth are not on a MLB roster. Neither is Yasmany Tomas. Interesting.
