I had a fun talk with a friend yesterday about which D-backs front office era deserves the most credit for the current team’s success. The team, as constructed, has players spanning four generations of front offices. Different philosophies, quirks, and luck have shaped and molded the team over the past eight years. I wanted a visual guideline to help fuel the discussion so I put together a simple timeline. Here is a quick look at the roster construction of the current team and how/when the players were acquired. Which camp are you a part of?
