Every game matters. Especially against the Dodgers. But after a sweep and a series win, losing to Kershaw can be tolerated easily.

Dodgers 7, Diamondbacks 2

The Diamondbacks had an 11-game winning streak snapped against the Dodgers. Eleven games. My goodness. Obviously, we’d trade them all for 3 postseason wins, but it’s very impressive regardless. Goldy is clearly back taking Kershaw deep this time. Godley is mortal. And the Diamondbacks are still 5.5 games up over the last-placed Dodgers.

D-backs Place Walker (Forearm) on 10-Day DL

As baseball and Diamondbacks fans, we’ve seen enough of “forearm tightness” to crawl into a corner and cry. At this point, it appears to be nothing according to Taijuan Walker. With very little depth for major injuries.

Braden Shipley Off to a Solid Start in Reno

Could he be our 6th starter this year that teams seem to need. A 1.56 ERA over 17 innings in Reno is a very good start.

Hopeless Forecasts and the Stereotype Threat

A FanGraphs article that shows that we live in era of tanking teams and super teams where projections of team performance are remarkably accurate. How does that effect the teams projected to be weak? Perhaps not as negatively as expected.
