After a rough start to the season, questions were asked. He hasn’t produced since August 2017, why? Is Goldy’s elbow fine? Maybe being on the wrong side of 30 is an issue? To his detractors, Goldy doesn’t use “Lovullo Language”, he hits monster home runs to make his point. He’s been too good for too long to worry too much. As for Robbie Ray, we’re still waiting to see his 2017 version of himself. His track record isn’t quite as long. But so far as a team, the D-backs keep winning the series against their opponents. Great start to the season so far.

Peralta Held Out of Lineup for Second Straight Game
David Peralta has some left hand soreness keeping him out of the lineup. It seems like Peralta occasionally has the not-so-serious injury that keeps him out of some games during the season. Meanwhile, Delgado had his struggles in the minors, and the D-backs are not about to rush him back.

Track the Greatest So-Called Greatest Free-Agent Class Ever
With names like Bryce Harper, Manny Machado, Clayton Kershew and others, there will be an interesting off-season this year. The D-backs can barely afford their own roster as it is now, I wouldn’t expect much hope to add a member of this great free-agent class.
Mets Win 8th Straight Behind 4-run 8th, Wheeler
The Mets are 10-1 so far. Pretty good start and quite unexpected.
