Just two weeks from today, and it’ll be Opening Day for the 2018 Arizona Diamondbacks. Doesn’t time fly? So far, it has been steady as she goes for the D-backs: the only significant injury issue of concern, which we didn’t know about coming in, is probably Groinke’s grein. Hopefully, that turns out to be just a little thing. :) However, on that front...
Torey Lovullo said Zack Greinke felt better today, but it sounds almost certain they'll push back his next start. If that's the case, making Opening Day becomes very difficult. Dbacks won't rush Greinke to make it.

Right now, Ray’s spring ERA is still an ugly 9.00, but that’s almost entirely the result of his one ugly start against Los Angeles: spring training is very good at magnifying things like that, because you’re only talking about a small number of innings. Ray’s last outing, against the Royals in Surprise, was much better: 3.2 innings of one-run ball, with six strikeouts. Here’s to more of that today.
This one is available on the radio through dbacks.com. Not sure if it’ll be our broadcasters or the Cubs’ ones.
