Just time for a quick thread today: I hate Mondays... But as spring wears on, the line-ups occasionally seem to be getting closer to what we might see from the Diamondbacks on Opening Day. This could be right in seven of the nine spots, with a different battery being (and no DH, obviously!) being the only differences. But it’s still probably not likely that we’ll see Medlen on the roster: he’s mainly pitching, because Zack Godley got his work done, in a more controlled situation on one of the backfields at Salt River Fields this morning. No word as yet how it went, but it’s interesting how this seems to have happened more often in 2018 than previously. Maybe it just feels that way.
