Spring Training Gameday Thread, #2: 2/22 vs. Indians

New, comments

Should be a little warmer than yesterday, though the forecast still isn’t for temps to crack 70 through the end of next week.

Diamondbacks line-up

  1. David Peralta LF
  2. A.J. Pollock CF
  3. Paul Goldschmidt 1B
  4. Jake Lamb 3B
  5. Daniel Descalso 2B
  6. Kevin Cron DH
  7. Jeremy Hazelbaker RF
  8. Nick Ahmed SS
  9. J.R. Murphy C
+ P Zack Godley, and others, including Archie Bradley, Yoshihisa Hirano and Jared Miller

Bit more of a regular look to the line-up, especially in the top half, and compared to the last couple of days where it has been a veritable “Who’s He?” of Diamondbacks players. Of course, you should be sure to get to Salt River Fields promptly for this afternoon’s game if you want to see any of the above, because they will likely all be gone after five innings or so. There was a late change for the above, Cron replacing Cesar Puello at DH, for a non-specified reason. This game will be on the radio, so find Arizona Sports 98.7 FM for the coverage.

And elsewhere, if you’re in the West Valley, head to Whatever The Stadium Is Called These Days Arena in Glendale for D-backs night at the Coyotes. The first 7,500 fans in attendance will get a Jake Lamb bobblehead. He’ll be dropping the first puck, and former D-backs infielder Willie Bloomquist will take part in the “human hockey puck” in-game promotion.
