After a brief pause in these categories, caused by the SnakePit having some other stuff to talk about, we’re now back on the awards horse. There will no further interruptions... Well, not unless Zack Greinke gets dealt over the weekend. So, I’m making no guarantees! Picking the nominees in this area was done in a rather more objective manner than the other categories. I included the two longest home-runs hit by a Diamondback this season; the two most significant in terms of Win Probability [both being game-tying blasts, coming with two outs in the ninth inning]; and to complete the selection, the only grand-slam hit by a Diamondback this year.
/2: Owings’ game-tying HR in the 9th
/1: Walker crushes a solo HR to the second deck
/26: Ahmed launches a grand-slam to left-field
/4: Marte belts 112.8-mph, 465-ft. HR vs. Giants
/6: Goldschmidt ties it in 9th with solo jack
