I listened to the 1st few innings of the Dodgers-Brewers game yesterday and I must say, that 1st inning was a doozy. Miley threw a handful of pitches, walked the 1st batter and was immediately pulled from the game by Counsell. In the 3rd and 4th innings the broadcasters continued to speculate about why Miley was pulled, whether unseen injury or tactical ploy. The Dodger’s did not speculate or flinch as they acted on their opportunity against a stretched Milwaukee pitching staff. After vomiting a bit I turned the game off and proceeded to ignore National League baseball for the remainder of the day.

The Dbacks must consider Lord Emperor Goldy’s eventual decline in any extension talks.
