After only 1/2 inning, I received a @MLB At Bat notification that the Dodgers beat the Dbacks.

Funny how cops dragging out a drunk dodger fan and practically breaking his arm in the process calmed down the rest of the abusive drunks

AZ has all sorts of fans from many different teams, AZ is a melting pot. I'm happy they have a crowd at least.
— Heidi Sprain (@heidispra) August 12, 2017
That’s an interesting and positive way to look at it. There’s no denying the atmosphere at Chase for the Dodgers and Cubs series last week was much more intense than usual - “playoff atmosphere” was frequently used to describe it. However, I’d hope that in the event of any actual playoff games, the crowd would more heavily favor the home team. I suspect a good few season ticket holders sold their seats for those games: that should not be the case for, say, an NL Division series against the Dodgers. Certainly right about Arizona being a melting pot.
On the other hand...
We have the worlds only gangster Cubs fan sitting behind us. This may be the most annoying guy on the planet

I don’t normally include my own work, but in response to a number of requests:
Ask for your tacos "Cubs style" tomorrow.
— AZ SnakePit (@AZSnakepit) August 13, 2017
They take 108 years to show up, then Arizonans pretend they liked them all the time.
Maybe this could be a future Pit Your Wits contest. “Ask for your tacos, ______ style” - fill in the blank, and explain your reasoning.
When your team has a SS that can throw to home ☺️

Don’t know much about GoT but since Walker had a white Walker bobblehead he has given up home runs like its HIS final season.

Fun fact from Bob Brenley: Marte, Peralta, and Descalso have hit inside the park homers for the @Dbacks. All came with Corbin on the mound. pic.twitter.com/acKviBrFCt

Said to myself "lots of pass balls this year by dbacks catchers". Then I remember, those balls were being hit last year. @AZSnakepit

That’s a nicely positive way to look at it. And not without some truth. At 74.7%, the percentage of pitches thrown by the D-backs with which hitters make contact, is the lowest in franchise history [previous low = 75.3% in 2003]
