Reno Aces 2, Oklahoma City Dodgers 1: All of the scoring in this game came by the 3rd inning. Willians Astudillo blasted out a 2-run homer in the 2nd to give the Aces a 2-0 lead and they were able to hold onto that. Jake Buchanan allowed 1 run in 7 innings against the Dodgers. Louis Coleman struck out the next four hitters and Jared Miller got the final two outs of the 9th.

Jackson Generals 1, Mobile Baybears 7: Joel Payamps got steamrolled early with 6 runs allowed in the 2nd and 3rd innings. The offense was unable to get the job done, going 1 for 10 with RISP and stranded 13 runners.

Visalia Rawhide 5, Lake Elsinore Storm 2: Bo Takahashi gave up a homer to the first batter of the game, but settled in from there to allow no further damage over 6 innings with 10 strikeouts. The Rawhide were able to get some timely hits in the 6th inning to plate 3 runs and take control of the game. Keegan Long and Colin Poche pitched scoreless innings behind Takahashi for an easy win.

Kane County Cougars 6, Beloit Snappers 7: The Cougars fell behind big, as a 5-run 6th inning put them in a 6-2 hole. However, the offense was able to make it a game thanks to some timely hits and taking advantage of Beloit errors. Marcus Wilson picked up the only Kane County XBH, a double.

Hillsboro Hops 9, Eugene Emeralds 4: The Emeralds scored 3 runs in the bottom of the first, but the Hops answered with 6 runs in the 2nd inning. The inning started with a walk and a hit, but with 2 outs a pop fly that wasn’t caught led to a big offensive explosion. Eudy Ramos and Daulton Varsho both hit 2-run doubles in the inning. The Hops tacked on 3 runs in the 4th inning to take a 9-3 lead and cruised from there. Pavin Smith walked 3 times and Ramos finished 4 for 5 on the day.

Missoula Osprey 9, Helena Brewers 7: The Osprey fell behind 5-0 after a 5-run 2nd for the Brewers, but scored 7 straight runs to take a 7-5 lead. Jose Caballero finished a triple short of the cycle and Eduardo Diaz slugged his 4th homer of the year. Diaz also cut down a runner at the plate, which proved to be huge in a 2-run game. The Osprey took advantage of sloppy defense to score the 2 insurance runs in the 7th that they needed to win.

AZL Dbacks 0, AZL Giants 3: Juan Hernandez allowed 2 runs in 23 an inning and the offense struggled with runners on base. Despite getting 2 XBH and 6 walks, they weren’t linked together enough to impact the score. Kevin Watson and Buddy Kennedy both went 1 for 3 with an XBH, but the rest of the lineup couldn’t get the job done.
