Pit Your Wits ‘17: Week 15

I totally meant to take an extra week off.

Yup. Totally. That’s my story.

Anyway. New half, new start. After our elongated All Star Break we’re back at it again. AzRattler won the first half, so the’ll have the first spot in the Finals at the end of the season. As a reminder, I’ll take Rattler’s top three posts and their accompanying prompts and pit them against the top three posts from the second half. You’ll then vote in a poll and decide the winner.

For those of you who might just be joining us, points are assigned by the number of rec’s each submission gets. The top three keep their points and get them added to their spot on the leader board, so remember to rec a lot!

But to do that, we need a prompt for this week. Zack Godley has been quite good for the Diamondbacks this season, and as I’m sure he drunkenly reminds the poor, uninterested bartender every night, Dave Stewart was the one who added him. I don’t think anyone besides Stewart’s most ardent defenders would argue it was anything less than blind luck, so tell me. What did Stewart have to sacrifice in a dark ritual to make this happen? Go!
