The SnakePit hangs out the ‘Help Wanted’ signs

As we reach the mid-point of the season, time for a roster change. Xipooo is succumbing to the travails of “real life”, so needs to take a sabbatical from the SnakePit for a bit. We appreciate his efforts and wish him all the best. He may return down the road, but we need someone to take over his duties in the meantime. Those would mostly be two Snake Bytes per week, rounding up the news, other recaps and nuggets of interest into a breakfast sandwich for readers here. Pick any two of Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings. Of course, if you want to do articles on other topics at other times, that’d be great, but Snake Bytes would be your “duty”.

I’ve got some outside applicants on file from spring training, but I’d rather have someone active on the ‘Pit; somebody who knows us and we know them. If you’re interested, drop me a line at azsnakepit@gmail.com with your SnakePit user and express your interest. If wouldn’t be paid, unfortunately, but you get to show up in Google News on a regular basis, which will impress your family and friends! The position will be semi-permanent, in the sense that Xipooo will have first dibs: I’m basically treating his absence as like maternity leave. But if/when he comes back, it’s likely we can find another spot for you somewhere.
