Arizona Diamondbacks Player of the Week poll

I’m baaaaack... :)

MLB: Philadelphia Phillies at Arizona Diamondbacks Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

Safely returned from the wilds of Seattle - more on which tomorrow, in the road-trip report. No round-table this week as a result, but figured I should still keep up polling on its regular weekly rotation.

Player of the week

Fernando Rodney’s four save week propelled him to the top of last week’s poll, and the 65% thus obtained also jumped him from seventeenth, all the way into the top five. Paul Goldschmidt also made a move, leap-frogging Greinke and Lamb to take the second spot. Here’s all the standings, post week 11.

  1. Robbie Ray: 205%
  2. Paul Goldschmidt: 136%
  3. Zack Greinke: 121%
  4. Jake Lamb: 121%
  5. Fernando Rodney: 75%
  6. Patrick Corbin: 55%
  7. Archie Bradley: 55%
  8. Brandon Drury: 52%
  9. David Peralta: 46%
  10. Chris Iannetta, 34%
  11. Nick Ahmed: 30%
  12. A.J. Pollock: 30%
  13. Taijuan Walker, 26%
  14. Jeremy Hazelbaker: 25%
  15. T.J. McFarland: 19%
  16. Randall Delgado: 17%
  17. Chris Herrmann, 16%
  18. Zack Godley, 11%
  19. Chris Owings, 9%
  20. J.J. Hoover: 7%
  21. Yasmany Tomas: 7%

The team went 4-2 over the past week at Chase Field, winning a series against Colorado, and taking two of the first three against Philadelphia. The offense scored nine runs or more in three of those games, but the pitching did their part holding the opposition to 21 runs over the six games. Who was the Player of the Week?
