Almonte gave up seven hits and three walks over six innings, leading to three runs, all earned, striking out three. CF Gail Cribbs tripled and singled, while RF Jason Morozowski scored both runs for Visalia, after drawing three walks.

A-ball Kane County 0 @ West Michigan 1. [Bonus: check out MIK57’s report from the game] The Cougars were six-hit by the Whitecaps in a pitching duel. DH Ramon Hernandez and 2B Luis Alejandro Basabe each had two of those hits, Basable ading a stolen-base. RF Zach Nehrir singled and drew Kane County's only walk.
