Triple-A Reno 22 (!) vs. Salt Lake 3 - Dear god, this was a slaughter. A six-run first set the tone; the Aces put up crooked numbers every time up bar the 2nd and 5th innings. LF Oswaldo Arcia had five hits and a walk, and RF Kristopher Negron three hits and three walks. 3B Carlos Rivero (above) got six RBI including a grand-slam, and 1B Christian Walker homered and doubled, as every Aces starter reached base safely at least three times. Reno somehow also left seventeen men on base, despite being 15-for-31 with RISP. Oh, and Anthony Banda tossed seven shutout innings of four-hit ball, fanning ten.

Double-A Jackson 6/4 @ Mobile 2/3 - The Generals took both ends of a 7-inning double-header from the BayBears. In the opener, Alex Young allowed one run over five innings, on four hits.. SS Colin Walsh (#6) and DH Rudy Flores (#2) went deep in the first inning, both men also getting second hits later. The nightcap saw Ivan Pineyro give up two runs in five frames, and Gabe Speier worked a six-out scoreless save. 3B Dawel Lugo had a pair of doubles.

High-A Visalia 9, Lancaster 8 - A sterling comeback saw the Rawhide rally from five runs down after four innings. They scored three in the fifth, then took the lead with a four-run seventh, keyed by 2B Daniel Lockhart’s two-run single, which drove in both tying and go-ahead runs. 3B Marty Herum had five RBI with two hits and a sac. fly; RF Jason Morozowski got three hits and scored twice, and Keegan Long got the W for three scoreless relief innings. Starter Justin Donatalla went four, allowing seven runs, though three were unearned.

A-ball Kane County @ South Bend - postponed.
