Snake Bytes 4/8: This is fun!

Five games into the season and the Diamondbacks have already managed four rather exciting wins. If the season ended today, they would be headed to the playoffs (along with two other NL West teams).

Cleveland 3, Arizona 7

It didn’t look good for Arizona early. The offense sputtered against Tomlin and the Indians in the first two innings. Meanwhile, the Tribe tagged Miller for three earned runs while running him up to 40 pitches through only two frames. Then Miller settled in, and so did the offense.

The Diamondbacks Might Have Found Two Good Relievers

Small sample sizes are at work here, as is the notion that Bradley will remain a reliever long enough for it to matter, but it’s nice to see the bullpen heading in the right direction.
