Things did not look great for the Diamondbacks two batters into the game when they found themselves down two with no outs in the top of the first. Showing the patience that has become something of a trademark for them, the Diamondbacks came roaring back in the later innings to secure another victory over the division rival Dodgers.

One thing that stands out about the 2017 Diamondbacks when contrasted with the 2016 version is the way the team hangs in during tough times and does not allow miscues to rattle them. There has been a decided culture shift in Arizona, and Torey Lovullo is at the heart of it.
